We believe parents are the primary educators of their children and make it a priority to keep the lines of communication open on your child’s progress, school programs, and religious activities. We invite parents to attend our school assemblies on Monday mornings, and mass on Friday mornings, which are prepared by the children under the direction of their class teacher.
We encourage all families to join in our parent participation program, which involves 40 volunteer hours each year. In addition to supporting the school community, family involvement is a wonderful way to connect with other families and children, while strengthening the fabric of our school community.
Parents can find out about volunteer opportunities and log hours here: Parent Participation Login
OLPH offers a variety of community-building events throughout the school year, which provide a wonderful opportunity for parents to participate in the school community. These include the Walkathon Fundraiser, Harvest Fair, Scholastic Book Fair, That’s Amore! Family Dinner, Fundraising Gala, and Sports Day, among others. Whether you attend or volunteer, these events bring a spirit of community and fun to OLPH.
