We believe parents are the primary educators of their children and make it a priority to keep the lines of communication open on your child’s progress, school programs, and religious activities. We invite parents to attend our school assemblies on Monday mornings, and mass on Friday mornings, which are prepared by the children under the direction of their class teacher.
We encourage all families to join in our parent participation program, which involves 40 volunteer hours each year. In addition to supporting the school community, family involvement is a wonderful way to connect with other families and children, while strengthening the fabric of our school community.
The Parent Participation Program is led by parent volunteers who co-chair a variety of subcommittees, each representing different opportunities to support school functions and events. Each function or event is further coordinated by parent volunteers. Parents can find out more about these volunteer opportunities by contacting parentparticipation@olphbc.ca
More information is also available by exploring the Parent Participation Organization Chart.
