Extra-Curricular Activities

At OLPH, we pride ourselves in providing a variety of extracurricular activities that meet the needs and interests of our students.

Sports:

There is a wide variety of sports for both girls and boys taking place outside of normal school hours.

This is a brief summary of what is available:

Boys

Cross Country (Sept – Oct) GRADES 1 – 7

Girls

Students are provided with permission forms and information notices at the beginning of each term.

Performance Choir

Students from Grade 3 upwards can join the choir which sings at various performances throughout the year. There is no audition necessary. All students are welcome. Choir practices are once per week at lunch hour and children are expected to attend. The choir also sings at school masses and those singing are expected to arrive at the school by 8.15 a.m.

Chamber Choir

Any students who are members of the Performance Choir can audition for the Chamber choir which is a small group of students who practice in the mornings before school.

Band

Band members are Grade 5, 6 & 7. All students in fifth grade under the direction of the music teacher choose a wood wind or brass instrument to play. Practices are during school hours.

Seasonal Clubs

Chess, Crafts, French, Missions. Information is distributed to the children in the relevant classes.
